Psychotherapy
No two people are alike. I know you've probably heard this a thousand times, but it's true. Even if we're born in the same family, the lenses through which we experience our lives are all slightly different. That’s why the approach that I take is highly-personalized and refined to fit the exact needs of my clients. I will help you recognize your underlying challenges, fully realize your strengths and help you adjust to a new, healthier lifestyle.
Clients typically need 53-55-minute sessions, particularly when just starting therapy. Appointments are generally weekly to start and can be reduced as things improve. You are always in control of your treatment and can adjust your session schedule as needed.
When you make an appointment I reserve that time for you. I do my best to schedule a day and time that will be convenient to your schedule. If you cancel an appointment with more than 24-hours notice, this gives me the time to fill the session slot and also work with you to find a time to reschedule that week, if possible.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L6689) under the Oregon State Board of Licensed Social Workers, and have been in private practice since 2017.
“Therefore, dark past, I’m about to do it. I’m about to forgive you for everything.”
